Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are officially divorced

This is what Tiger stated at his website about the divorce:

"We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us. Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern."

Elin on the other side, is happy that it's all over, at the same time that she's devestated by everything that has happened. Sources say that she hasn't been herself lately:

"This has taken a heavy toll on her. After the divorce papers were filed, Elin was quiet and upset. She went straight home from the courthouse and didn't want to talk to anyone. The reality of her marriage ending hit her hard. She never thought she'd be in this position. She had no idea that Tiger was cheating on her the entire time she was married."

"She doesn't talk to Tiger. They almost never come face to face anymore and when they do she doesn't say a word. This is not a divorce where the parties are going to end up being friendly toward each other. There is still a lot of raw pain."

Can't blaim her for not wanting to talk to the man who cheating on her before they got married, during their marriage and since. Luckily for Elin, she will end up as a rich woman after this.
